Foxford Woollen Mills was a fabulous, imaginative, innovative project in the west of Ireland, giving employment to a whole neighbourhood. In 1907, on 23rd January, the mills burnt down. Next morning, Sr.Bernard, an Irish Sister of Charity who had founded the mills, having prayed through the night, came out and said to the people,
“All disasters have a value. Now our mistakes are burnt and we can start anew.”

A bird does not sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song.
Keep safe everybody.
